The attached images (concept maps 1-5) are taken from PhD research into the concept of Organisational Knowledge Management. The Concept Map, created using FREE C:Map tools, was used to illustrate how the concept was explored and was referenced in the thesis as a way to signpost how concepts guided the researcher to certain conclusions. This approach allows students to illustrate their thought process/es in ways that move beyond a traditional narrative description.

I have also used this as part of a final assignment for a p/g business module, where students were asked to map theories/concepts/models/frameworks that they had considered in addressing a case-based problem - happy to discuss the process/outcomes if anyone is interested.

Would be interested in learning how this was practically introduced/initially conveyed to the class, and what their initial reaction was? and their summary feedback on the experience?
